    how to make crickets move?

Hey, so Nova doesn't seem to eat much and today a fly landed on the viv and caught her attention. She tried to get it twice as it crawled around. So I'm wondering if she's not eating crix because they don't move around much. I feed her in a tub, and she's does peek inside. Is there anyway to...

The crickets are classed as small/medium, they are pretty tiny. He ate bigger locusts before, just doesn't seem interested in the crix. It's a wooden via, with glass front, it has a fair few vents on though. It's too cold here most of the time for a screen, the heat doesn't like staying in my...

Thanks for the reply. The viv is 18" x 24" x 36" The lighting is and Arcadia d3 80watt basking lamp. Both were a part of the kit I bought, and I'm guessing misold? The basking temp is 31-32, not sure about the cool side, I do need a second thermometer.

So a fortnight later and to be honest, not much has changed. He still doesn't come out, hides all day, doesn't seem to eat much at all. Putting 7-8 crickets in a cup each day and most days they are still there at night time. Due to this, I don't think he's grown much and is now 4 months old. I...

Hello, So I have had my Chameleon for little over a week and I'm finding things to be very frustrating! - He hides constantly, mainly on the cooler side, so doesn't seem to warm up. I have had to bring him to the warmer side just to get his temp up and get him moving. After I do this he is...

Hello again! The Viv that I get in my setup is wooden, melamine sides, top, bottom, and glass doors. Im now slightly concerned. I assume i will need to completely seal every joint inside to stop the water creeping in and wrecking it? Secondly, how much water will pool at the bottom following...

Hello - new to the hobby

Thanks for the replies. I will get more pics when I get him and check for bulges! Grimcamel: he does have a small kink, to be honest, that's one of the reasons I fell for him! My old beardie had a kink too, so it was like fate, finding a chameleon with the same, he was using his tail fine...

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and new to owning a chameleon, though I did have a bearded dragon for 9 years. His name at the moment is in debate, but looks like it will be Vega. I fell in love with this little fella very quickly and can't wait to bring him home next week! Can anyone in...
