i was vert shocked when mnty hand fed from me - i have only had 3 weks, but he eats daily from my hand - he'l eat locast - but if i put a wax worm on my hand, he moves so quick its un-true.

yeah, he can get high enough to the uv.
if the temp get's too hot where he is basking, should i turn the light off for a few hours, then back on a bit later?

i've attached some pictures of the light set up, i have 2x reti glo 5.0 & now 35w sun glow halogen daylight lamp.
i have moved his branches 7" away from the light & the temp is ranging between 82 7 84
i have just been cleaning out monty's viv, as i turned round i knock h9is basking light on to the floor, braking he bulb & stopping the therostate to stop working.

my 8 weekm old veiled shed on new years eve, he has been eating really well - prob a tad too well, but today, he has eatern half of what he normal eats & is just sitting under his basking lamp - could he be getting ready for another shed so soon?

i've read & re-read the blog that brad did on raising kitty the chameleon, but cant find any humidity levels.
at the moment, i have i digital hygrometer which is in the middle of the viv & that...
No, not inside, the light is on the top of the viv (outside & above) so it also sits up quite high & yes, its on a dimer thermostate.

i have a very quick question regarding basking temps - you said n your blog that baby chams under 3 months shoulod have a baking heat of 80.
i have a 6 week old cham & i use a white basking light on a thermostat, as it is set...
at the moment my heating is on 24hours a day, so night time temps in his viv are in the low 60's, when it warms up abit the heating will be off at nightk so will keep my eye on things
