Thanks for reply
Their grip seems good. A week ago was the worst. The Ambilobe was so out of it, I was able to hold him. He was motionless, but his grip was still strong. I'm trying to figure out how to attach pics. ( I'm tech-challenged!!) I don't make a habit of holding my panthers, however...

I have 2 male panthers. Both around 1 yr old. 1 Nosey Be and 1 Ambolibe. Received at the same time. They were aprox 5 mo old when I got them. Housed in separate enclosures, but side by side. Switched from 18" x 36" enclosures to 24" x 48" enclosures when they got bigger. Screened on all sides...
Looking for Panther breeder
Thank you for your response. i have not been very active on the forum. I didn't realize I shouldn't have singled out one particular breeder. I appreciate the heads up!
I have 2 soft mesh enclosures that are mesh on ALL sides with pvc frames. Maximum airflow, great drainage. I love them. The soft mesh does not damage the nails or toes. I have Panthers in them now. Question is: just received a large enclosure as a gift. It has sturdy wire coated with some kind...
Thank you very much!
Luckily, I have 2 cages and I switcher her out, in order to get the eggs out without stressing her. So she was out of there quickly. The cricket keeper was emptied and cleaned well. I truly appreciate the heads-up on the salt excretion. Is it a dangerous health hazard? Any...
I went on vacation for a week. My designated veiled Cham sitter, backed out at last min. Gave my friend a crash corse on care on feeding/watering my "Kiwi" a 9mo. Old veiled, full of eggs.
They all did great EXCEPT, the dry and wet cricket food got to close and want cleaned out, and it began...
I have a female veiled that is full of eggs. This is my first female, so the egg thing is new so I'm getting as much info as I can. I watched a video that was very helpful. In it, they mentioned that she will stop eating right before she is going to lay her eggs. Have you noticed this to be...
I have a 9 mo female veiled. I have never had a female, and dealing with egg bearing issues is new to me. I have learned SO much from this site. I found I was feeding her to much, but I'm on track now. I THINK she is gravid, because she is chubby. I have an egg laying bin in her enclosure...
I have Zoo Meds "Reptivite" which has a crazy long list of moisture and minerals, vitamins and nutrients, amino acids
Hard to believe all of that is in here, but that's what the container shows.
What calcium do you use with "NO" D3. ? If I have the name, I'm sure I can find it online.
Thanks...
Gut loading
I use Flukers cricket quencher also with calcium, and Flukers Orange Cube complete cricket diet. I have not tried fresh veggies or fruit. What do you suggest? Thanks again!
Thanks for the advise
Yes, the dustings I have, all have vitD.
1) what brand do you suggest? I will have to find it on the Internet because local sources don't have much selection.
2) how often would I use the dusting with vitD, and how often, without?
THANK YOU SO MUCH for responding!! I...
I have learned so much from this site and all of you! I have a 9 mo old female veiled. Fell in love with her at Petco 4 mo ago. I don't handle her unless necessary to move her from her habitat for some reason. I feed her 4 crickets (dusted with Rep-Cal calcium w/ vitD) and 3 mealworms daily. I...
