So it's been a few days since I moved my veiled into his bigger cage, I had him hand feeding and coming out of his cage on his own to free roam. Since the upgraded cage he freaks out anytime I enter the room no matter how quiet I am. He won't eat when I try hand feeding him and won't come out of...
Lol that's how ghost is, except since I moved him to the much larger cage I have noticed he's almost completely terrified or pissed at me. I went to feed him horn worms (normally hand fed) and he would come close at all
I've had straight branches just need to go get some new longer ones I went from the medium ReptiBreeze to the XL so almost nothing but the vinyl plants were saved
After noticing my little guy got use to his cage he began trying to cram himself into spots I had blocked off. (To avoid finding him laying right under the uv lamp from roof of cage again.) I decided to suck it up and get him a bigger cage to grow into for awhile. Decided XL should fit his needs...
And I ordered the zoo med hanger for the the light as of 15 minutes ago since petco and petsnart (only pet stores near the house) only had the suction cup hangers
Only reason I ran it the way I did is the flow of water, if I secure everything to the very top flow goes to one of the three droppers and none of the misters. I will try riser though for the lights. The line he lays on is 3" below the light so I'm presuming another 3" based on a riser would...
So my veiled, ghost, acted similar to yours. I decided to get meal worms for him as a treat and fed him one in my hand. Used a leaf from one of the plants in his cage as a dish. He came down from the basking branch, ate the worm and decided o continue climb to see how far he could climb. He got...
So I created a drip system for my chams cage and have a few misters installed as well to control the humidity levels. As I set it up my little guy watched from his basking limb (refused to move and didn't seem bothered by my presence in his cage.) let it run for a bit and ran to the store and...
Is there anything wrong with running a uvb and uva bulb in my veileds cage? I haven't noticed anyone saying its bad but I'm just wondering if it's good for them
