i havent bought much from them, they have the actualy calcium without d3 they gave me a sample, but they just dont use it.... so sad. I have only bought a fake plant that went well with the cage and crickets because they have good sizes and im only doing that until i start keeping my own
Yup, all eyes closed and one can barley walk, I guess I could try but these people aren't the kind of people that are going to change, my only hope is that when these finally pass, they won't buy anymore. If they get a new Jackson's I might try and pick it up before it gets too sick
Anyone else ever encounter horribly healthed chameleons in pet stores? I have a local one I go to for food and such and the 4 they have there all seem like they are on the verge of dying. No UVB light, all dehydrated and all seem like the have bad cases of MBD. Everytime I walk in there I have...
is it normal for a chameleon to like to stand under the dripper and give himself a lil shower?
I for one and thrilled because i was scarred he wasnt getting enough water, but his poop is whitening up every time.
Is liking showers a normal trait for veiled? or is it kind of rare?
i think...
okay thanks :) how often should i clean the plants? should i clean every plant in there that way? like just get a bucket and fill it with some soap and water and dunk them all in there? how long should i leave them to soak?
oh, i heard that it was bad to get from lowes or home depot because they are treated with chemicals.. but thanks for the advice on the plants and bulb, do you think the basking spot is too close to the light , like should i move the leaves down a few inches?
im wondering what kind of plants are good for a baby veiled, im looking for a smaller plant with bigger leaves that will hopefully stay small-ish and is able to hold water on the leaves for a while.
I understand i need to get an all naturally gown one from a nursery, but im wondering what kind...
okay than you, so just switch out my red for a normal one? i find him under the uvb more than the heat anyway, but they heat in his basking is mid 80's which from my understanding is the right temp
I know i know, I have too many questions :P just trying to make sure im doing everything right.
I have i believe a 50-75 watt uvb light, and i belive a 50 watt red heat light, i turn them on in the morning and i leave no lights on at night?
Basically, is this routine/the lights right?
i need to know the recommended schedule for dusting and exactly what brands are recommended.
if possible could you please post links to places where i could order these or give me EXACT brand and store to find them at. thanks :)
but remember, please be detailed so im not left with any questions :D
what does it mean when when he was walking around on the floor? should i be concerned? he is well fed and well watered and seems healthy, he walked right back up, but could it be from my leafs being too close to the ground? because they lead right down to the floor and i think he just wandered...
thanks, but im still confused as to whhat to let it drip on.. just pick a big leaf out in the open and try and make them land on that? sorry im such a noob :P
ive recent purchased a "little dripper" and have some questions.
First off, how should i get it into the cage? i dont want to let it driop through because it might rust the cage.. so what should i do?
Also, how do i set it up? do i just let it drip onto a big leaf and have a bowl under it...
okay, thanks to all of you, are fruits and veggies recommended to feed to him if he likes them? also, how would i go about deeding him things like that?
