Hi again.
Her dehydration symptoms were sunken eyes and very orange poo that was really solid.
The burn was a complicated thing tho....
She origionally had a compact top with just a uv bulb (apparently there are reports out now about them being dangerous) Id like to say i was mis-sold...
Thanks for the advice!
The water bowl thing is only temporary. I put it in there as a couple of weeks ago she was suddenly hugely dehydrated even though nothing had changed so i thought id put it in there just incase and she does drink from it.
At the mo im cleaning it twice a day which is...

She was fine this morning and the last time i checked on her was about an hour ago - she didnt have her tounge sticking out then.
When i saw it i watched her for about 3 mins and she didnt pull it back in. Then i misted her and she ran away as usual to her...
Hi everyone
I have just walked in on my cham doing something i havent seen her do before and im worried it means she's sick!
She was sat under her basking lamp - in her usual basking spot - but she had the end of her tounge sticking out.
About half a centimetre was sticking out - not...
Yeah, i read that too. Had her basking spot at around 80 but she did nothing except sit and bask all day so i have upped it a couple of degrees and she seems to move about much more now.
Having said that - with the weather being so crazy at the mo i am having to adjust it almost every day...
I read this web site alot when i first bought her - and im trying to keep the temps right so she wont lay atall.
I cant believe how confusing it all is with chams - the book isnt the first place where i have heard that she will probably die.
Perhaps the people who say this arent keeping...
Hi - phew thanks!

The book is called:

Hi
I have just read that 95% of female veileds die if they arent mated.
It says - females will become receptive between 3 and 5 months old. 95% of captive females that arent mated in this time will die from egg binding!
Im really worried now - my little cham is nearly 5 months old and i...
Well, at first she was shedding - for 2 days - which i know can put them off food sometimes.
Then her shed just didnt look right to me so i took her to the vets - he did say that the journey and her exam might stress her out.
I think she has eaten 1 or 2 locust in the last four days - she...
Oh great! Phew!
She has stopped eating at the mo too but from what ive read on here that is normal - especially if they are stressed!
Hope she eats soon - its making me stressed!
Hi all!
Every morning ( for the last 6 weeks - as long as ive had her ) she climbs to the top of her viv and lies on her side on the top branch!
She is still holding on with her tail and feet.
She lies so she is exactly under the light and every so ofter she will switch sides!
Once...
Hi Kitty
The world is a difficult place at the mo - things arent much better over here in the UK.
Im really sorry to hear about everything - including your own personal problems.
I know it is a long shot - but it is something i have done - however i dont know how it works in the US...
Following my thread yesterday....

The set up at the time was really wrong and i have it all sorted now.
At the time it was a exo terra compact top - not the dual one and she was about 3 inches away from the bulb.
I was mis - sold equipment and given bad advice (at the time) that was around 3 or 4 weeks ago.
Im using a...
