    Chameleon skeletons

I lost my male veiled a few months ago, and I had had him in the freezer since yesterday when I buried him and happened to come across your thread today. I find this very fascinating, and may go back out and dig my guy back up :o How would I go about doing this? Is there a way I could get the...

    Garlic

Thanks, also birds are similar to reptiles to a degree right? Because I give it to my chickens in small doses. Given to mammals in small doses is actually beneficial as you probably know, it's just large amounts that can be toxic as you stated. Onions on the other hand can be lethal to some dogs...

    Garlic

So I was thinking while giving some garlic to my chickens who are sneezing. If I gave a teeny tiny piece of garlic to calais feeders while gutloading, would it have any ill affects on him? I love garlic, it is a super plant that helps with boosting the immune system. Anyone have thoughts on...

Cage size for multiple Veilled ;)

Veileds are one of the more territorial chameleons and should not be housed together. Some chameleons like pygmys or parsons can, but veileds will most likely kill each other. If not, they will rapidly produce eggs, whether fertile or not and the stress and calcium deficiency from that alone can...

    dubia roaches

are you buying reptile heat bulbs from the store  sigh.... a pack of 75watt bulbs is $1 at walmart. Not that the op should use a bulb, a heat pad would work best but not because it is cheaper.

    dubia roaches

Be careful with the plastic tub. I use glass because 1) they will climb out of plastic, and 2) a heat pad will melt it which you need to breed them well. I have had this happen, when I took the heat pad off the plastic where it was was warped badly.

    Pics of my lovey =D

A little, but he is quite healthy just lean :) I am trying to put a little more meat on his bones but I don't have money for any silks or hornworms, just have the dubias and crickets, and occasional supers and waxies. It is just his fat pads on his head that aren't filled up with fat.
