I got the new repti zoo enclosure in today and must say i am impressed by the ease of assembly. It goes together in 2 minutes. However I didnt notice the front is also plexi glass when i ordered it so im a bit disappointed as thats the main reason i sent the reptibreeze one back but atleast this...
The reason i didnt go by most pet safe lists is because pothos is considered toxic to cats but is on every chameleon list ive seen so it can be confusing.
I just ordered the repti zoo one i feel the more rigid design of the end caps will be better for my plan of putting plexi on the sides and i liked how the door folds down even if it is smaller. I also think the locks look much more sturdy. Just hoping the frame is wide enough to use the nut...
I was ready to pull the trigger on the zen but was worried about how hard it was going to be to mount branches to the solid walls and the screen doors were rather small. I like how the way i plan on doing it itll be full screen which is verry easy to mount stuff to then i can use thumb screws to...
I already have the xl reptibreeze enclosure so my questions are more geared those with the repti zoo. My current plan is to drill holes in the actual frame of the enclosure and use nut rivet nut inserts and threaded studs to make easily removable side panels using wing nuts. The zoo med is quite...
Ive done a lot of looking around on different fourms and compiled a few lists of plants to look out for and finally made it to my local green house and picked up a few plants. I grabbed some more pothos which is what im using now with a money tree so i dont have much of a concern there but i...
This is the solution i was looking for!!! Being able to angle the pan but not the tank itself. Do you know where you got that rack, and is that a 24x24"? I was thinking of making a stand with the pan as a drawr under the enclosure but this would be much easier!
Im constantly emptying water out of the bottom of my curent setup so im setting up a new 2x2x4 and want to incorporate some kind of drainage systems. I purchased a water heater drain pan but it doesnt drain until its half way full so i will need to drain it out of the bottom. Im just lost on how...
I ordered a 2x2x4 but wasn't paying attention and ordered a deluxe version, which has all screen sides the screen bottom door but the big top door is acrylic and has built in led lights for viewing. I like that the main viewing area is clear. But my plan was to cover the back and sides so this...
Not to beat a dead horse but does anyone have experience with a reliable fogger? I did some research and alot of people seemed to like this unit but not even a week old its blinking red and saying its empty when its 75% full. So it mustve been beeping all night long.
I just realized there are multiple versions of the xl and i got the deluxe version which has led lights and a solid front panel... its probably the weight of the door making the enclosure colapse when you open the bottom hatch. I dont have much hope a new one will be any better but may actually...
Are yours all screen or does it havr the olexi front door? I was disappointed the door wasnt screen i planned on blocking the back and sides keeping the front all screwn
Between the damaged screen from shipping and the flimsy screen i decided to send it back for another one. Hopefully the next one will be better eventhough its delaying me another 2 weeks now.
maybe once i have some sticks attached to the screen itll add some rigidity but as of now i open the bottom hatch and the door falls down and into the enclosure. on top of receiving it with a slightly damaged screen I'm debating returning it.
Those who have this enclosure, does the door fall down when you open the bottom hatch? I understand its a cheap enclosure but i am extremely disappointed by it and only went with it over the zen because i was worried about air flow.
I have my dripper setup and was it was setup with a pretty slow drip, about 1 drop every second or two. just enough to keep the leaf under it wet and enough where there is almost always movement for him to see every second or so. but it seems when i refill it and it is dripping fast he comes...
Has anyone used this cheap mister from amazon? I will say im not the smartest shopper i tend to buy a budget model to see if its equipment i will like and use effectively before shelling out for the premium version. For example my reef tank started as a low budget setup costing only a few...
