Reptizoo fogger problems.

Not to beat a dead horse but does anyone have experience with a reliable fogger? I did some research and alot of people seemed to like this unit but not even a week old its blinking red and saying its empty when its 75% full. So it mustve been beeping all night long.

You can take any cool mist humidifiers and alter them for a cage. I prefer the top fill kind. THen you do not have to take the entire unit apart. Then take the top piece where the hose comes out to home depot and retro fit it so that you can run a pvc pipe up the cage and over with an L fitting. That way your not using the collapsible hose that does not fully dry out.

Also note... if you avoid the kind with the digital display and functionality you can hook this in on a timer instead. So the ones that just have like an on off option.

The reptile versions can be easier to put the pvc adapter on. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=top+fill...p+fill+reptile+fogge,aps,132&ref=nb_sb_noss_2
human ones: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=top+fill...x=top+fill+,aps,184&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_1_9

You can also build your own... @crosscuts knows how to do this.

I have this one and I’ve used it since Jan 2021 and have had no problems. Plus like what was stated above you can plug it into a timer to have optimal control.

That one you could easily adapt to pvc pipe instead of the collapsing hose line too. Looks like a great option.

I would contact zoomed directly, they have good customer service. Getting a good Reptifogger is hit or miss. I still have 2 that are 5 yrs old that I use. I also use a few from Pets Pioneer.
