I need to buy my supplements and Vitamins: I know I need
1) Calcium (without D3 or phosphorus) (every feeding)
2) Multivitamin (every 2 weeks)
3) Calcium with D3 (every 2 weeks)
What brands do you guys recommend? Should the multivitamin have D3 too?
I think part of your problem may be the glass enclosure. Screen is recommended. Glass tends to hold in the humidity much more than screen enclosures. You could also mist less often.
I have been reading a lot on roach colonies and have read that darker colored bins produce more. When you upgrade, maybe get a darker bin and in the meantime, you can put duct tape on the outside of yours.
Are you using an automatic misting system? How often are you spraying? Do you have any type of substrate? I am not sure why it would stay high? My only thought would be to spray less. It should dry out between mistings? Do you have standing water at the bottom? Maybe post a picture of...
I make an H out of PVC pipe (schedule 40) and then run the green insulated plant wire through screen and attach it to the PVC. You could also using fishing line and attached it to the PVC.
Omg ! I think I authored this post. Do you have a long lost twin. I am terrified of roaches but actually bought a few bab dubias to try. I have tolerated them well. Not sure how it will go with the adult males though. Are they fast?
A couple of feeder questions:
1. For those of you that feed crickets loose in your chameleons cage how can you be sure that all are eaten before bed and no attackers are left before bedtime!
2. Do you feed your feeders a different good to keep them alive than you feed to gutload or is it...
I am starting to put my chameleon cage together. The cage is assembled and I am working on lighting placement. It will be for a baby ambilobe. Should the heat lamp go in one of the back corners and the UVB in front of that from left to right? How far should the closest branch be from heat...
My next purchase is an automated mister. I would like as many opinions as possible for MistKing versus Aquazamp. Reliability and simplicity are very important. Thanks.
Thanks so much. That made me happy. I emailed you a few times the last few days about hanging the pothos in my cage and supplements. You've ready been a tremendous research :)
