does anybody know where i can buy fruit flys in miami fl... i just had some unexpected babys and im really in need of some as soon as possible and was trying to avoid shipping time

thanks i just set them up in a temp glass tank 18x18x24 luckily i had one laying around it was kinda unexpected... i thought she was just a little fat cause i spoiled her with food little did i know she was pregnant... bought her that way .. also read she could store sperm after mating once...

thanks there are 7 little ones... i still have them with there mom i haven't removed them just yet ... doing some research but i cant find anything about the mother causing harm to her young any one know if that's a trait on jacksons... ( so far shes very tame hasn't even approached them yet )

thanks on the info... u think i can house all 7 in a ten gallon,i was reading on breeding where it states that they should be separated from each other within a week but it didnt say anything about separation from the mother should that be done immediately

shes at it again... when i mist she stops but it seems that she does it because she sees me n is trying to avoid it and if i mist the plants around her she wont drink... the temp is at 72... i mist 3 time or more a day.. i have a dripper im not sure what else it could be .... any ideas please...

no... im not even giving it to her anymore... but when i bought her i was told to place 3 drops onto her water (lil dripper) and it would help with her health... was thinking about giving it to her again but not to sure

i use to use liquid vitamins they were recominded by a pet store owner but i stoped using it a while back...was thinking of using it again... what do u guys think? it was called sera reptilin vitamins 15 ml...

Temps sound good just try not to go over ambient of 75. I have a basking spot of 80 in my setup and she only seems to like it early in the morning, the rest of the day she spends next to the fake vine I have set below her dripper. After looking again I am almost certain you have a female btw...

i see... ill be replacing the bulb while im there ....as for the floor i chose eco eart and moss to keep the humidity up... i dont mind the cleaning but if its a safety issue ill be remove it... i thought it was safe?... not really sure what type of jacksons it is when i bought it from the...

im going to be looking into buying a ficus tomorrow... as for the temp it ranges from 72-75 and the humidity from high 60s to 90 when i mist but it usually stays in the mid 70s... i thank the ecoearth and moss for that... mine actually walks up to the straw from the lil dripper to drink been...
