My beautiful little baby Augustus! I love this little dude. We have gotten to the point where, after some resistance I can coax him on to my hand. So today we had our first photo shoot. He is wearing is nervous/angry colors so you can't tell how beautiful he can get.
Thank you!
Thanks all four the advice! I'll leave him be for a couple of weeks. I'll still hand feed him his treat worms but I'll leave the crickets in his cup and let him get familiar with his surroundings.
His basking temp is 83.5 degrees and the middle of his enclosure is in the mid to high 70s all the time. I can fill that out and I'll post it so I can get some critiquing if it doesn't change in a couple of days. He does get dark when he's up by his lights basking so that makes sense if he's...
Hey guys I'm happy to announce that Friday my little Augustus arrived and I love him! We are still working on him loving me but that'll take time. I was wondering though, why is he such a dark color most of the time? I know he doesn't like me and gets nervous and darker when I try and hand feed...
Thanks Guys! I love orchids and have had a bunch of different ones and I was thinking they would be awesome next to my beautiful buddy. I just wanted to make sure they weren't going to be toxic to him. I appreciate all they feed back!
Hey Dave, He had around 50 babies male and female. They are captive bred. They were $125 each + shipping(I paid $45). He is a really nice guy and my buddy (a 3 month old male) is beautiful.

Hey guys I'm in the process of finishing up my enclosure to bring home a baby carpet chameleon. I was reading this recommended article from another member on here.

The only fine tuning question I have is I still need to dust the daily crickets...
Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knew of reputable carpet chameleon breeders. I know they are few and far between for captive bred carpets. Any references would be fantastic.
