Thanks for the info, I checked my thermometer and its gone as low as 16.8c already and its not got anywhere near as cold as it will. So I'm thinking I'll definitely need something and need advice on the best way to do it.

Have you checked the reservoir has water? I've found when mine runs out of water it does this. Then when you fill it up again it takes a minute to fill the system with water again. Also the bulk head in your reservoir have you put this an inch or so up from the bottom? This helps stop anything...
