I second that electronic ballasts are the way to go. They can be bought as stated for 10 bucks more at the depot. I also believe the ones sold at walmart might be electronic.

ok so is there a way to tell if they are wild or not? I mean the guy told me they were found in south florida, but I was under the impression they were not found in florida. Is this true? And I wanted to give breeding a try later on down the road...is this a bad idea now? Ive read the site...

Ok someone gave me two Cham a few days ago. Ive done some research and have found out that they are veiled chameleons. Is this correct? Is this one pictured male? How old is this guy? Is this just a regular veiled? Thanks guys
