i never notice him sneezing or coughing.
im quite worried. he's kind of restless unlike before if i turn the light off he usually sleeps afterwards but now he' still awake.
i noticed my male 1 month old veiled is closing is right eye when he basks at the uvb bulb. so i reach into the cage to closely examine him. i notice a bubble formed out of his nose when he exhaled. is he having colds? what should i do? and how is this related to his eyes? we don't have a...
hi, i have a month old male veiled. he's been with me for more than a week now. took a while before he has settled in his new home. i cage him in a 24x12x16 screen cage with a uvb light and a white fluorescent lamp on top. there are dracaena plants and a bird's nest fern in his cage. i mist 4...
hi! after going through your post, im thinking of raising silkies as well! :D they look great! what do you feed them? do they turn into moths when they fully mature?
i see. thank you! i need to get myself one of those plant lights if i move him to a bigger cage :) i've already collected some nice mature pothos, dracaenas and a bird's nest fern! im growing them for preparation of the big cage lol:D
he's doing better now, thanks guys! he ate 2crickets yesterday. and today another two. he's on shed now and i think that could be the cause why he did not consume more crickets? hopefully tomorrow he's gonna eat more after he has shed :)
before i use uvb and a basking bulb. when i use both of them. the temperature ranges from 28-32C. yesterday i noticed my cham opened his mouth for about 20seconds i think. so i figured it might be too hot for him so moved the basking light further from his cage. he seems to be doing better now...
im wondering if my light is enough. i have a month old male veiled. from what i have read, they don't need basking light as long as the temperature is okay. my veiled's enclosure is a 24x12x16 screen cage. with a 24" reptisun 5.0 uvb light on top. now, from what i have seen in chameleon videos...

i offered 3 crickets in the morning, at first he ingored it so i let him be. I went to check him after 3hours, all the crickets were gone so i added three more. after a few hours, i checked and he ate only one out of the three new crickets, but im happy atleast he ate today. i removed the...
thank you! that's what i've been wondering. how long should i wait before i take the uneaten feeders out of the cage. after i take the uneaten feeders, i'll introduce them the next day when the lights go on right? as much as possible don't disturb the chameleon and mist but make sure the cage...
hi, i have a male veiled about 4-6weeks old. he's been under my care for 5days now. he's not eating good, he only ate 3 mealworms. i tried crickets but he ignores it. they advised me to feed only crickets, so i switch back to crickets and he ignores it. he's currently in his temporary...
