If your is sitting free range for 1 or 2 hour a day, that won't be a problem, my free range boys sometimes exit the free range and will sit somewhere...
They’re setting in my enclosures for at least 3 years. No issues so far and also never seen them on a cham. Just make sure they have enough in there to eat. I also drop trimt leafs or death insects or veggies/fruit waste on floor, to let them enjoy a meal.
Btw. my girls favorite are also roaches and somedays she takes crickets or locusts. She was also completely crazy about morio beetles, but not anymore. Another favorite are snails and they come and go inside her enclosure. I think she eats them all and they just lay in time new eggs for a new badge.
Looks great and always love it when the bioactive part is build separately from the enclosure. Otherwise you would steal precious space with soil.
