    Bolt's Lack of Poop

He has had 3 medium hornworms in the past 12 days. His last urate, on August 2, was not completely formed due to a large hornworm and using the FogFather's fogger. I dialed the fog down and started giving him 1 medium hornworm a week. Im now feeding him 5 medium feeders daily to encourage a...

    Bolt's Lack of Poop

My Panther, Bolt, has not had a poop in 12 days. He seems slowed down but everything else is normal. He has a dripper that drips all day. I changed my fogging schedule because his last poop was watery. 12 days seem like a long time between poops. He usually has 1 poop a week. Any suggestions?

    Grasshoppers dying

American Bird hoppers are very particular regarding humidity. I had the same issue as you. They require a very dry climate. My daytime humidity was 30-40 and I still had a ton of die off. The humidity causes problems with molting. Mine were not big eaters. They seemed to prefer squash and...

Feel like im failing my chameleon, constant stress.

Way to go! It's really hard to deal with hunger strikes because they make you feel like you are doing something wrong. My Cham went on a 19 day hunger strike. It almost killed me. I was doing everything i could to encourage him to eat. I considered chewing the bugs myself and then feeding...

    New Panther Hatchling feeding

That's a typical baby response. They screen climb until they weigh too much to hold themselves on the screen top. I wouldn't worry too much about the eating. I haven't read the entire post so I would make sure baby has an all day water dripper. I use a little dripper ( a bucket with a...

    New Panther Hatchling feeding

I read that you can add a smear of banana in the feeding dish. This will attract the fruit flies to a concentrated area. Your baby will be better able to see his food move and be attracted to the feeding area.

Rescued 6 week old Cham not doing well HELP

If you are a DIY'er, the @crosscutts fogger is amazingly the best and its easy to make. I've been a Cham owner for a bit over 2 years. I've purchased 3 foggers. 2 stopped working and I dropped one and it broke into pieces. I made the crosscutts fogger and I'm more than pleased. I have...

My Cham Guys DIY bucket fogger is so amazing. I only run it 1 hour late night and 30 minutes before lights on. I use 2 mist heads for 2 enclosures but as Crosscuts stated 1 mist head can serve 2 enclosures.

Rescued 6 week old Cham not doing well HELP

I had a falling cham. I used plastic netting, zip tied, to branches to create a fall free environment. It's serves as a catch net. He can only fall 3 or 4 inches.

    Rescue Cham W/ stomatitis?

I would suggest a local regular vet with some reptile knowledge until you can locate an Exotic Vet. The local vet can at least treat the mouth rot, mbd (calcium/hydration injection) and do a fecal. This is what I did before I located an Exotic vet

    Rescue Cham W/ stomatitis?

I offer no advice as her issues are above my knowledge. Looks like metabolic bone disease as well. Start with basic husbandry. I would get her some uvb and Calcium immediately.

Update: This guy has not had 1 issue since the grasshoppers have arrived. I'm feeding him 1 large grasshopper and 1 sm-med hornworm 2 times a week. No odd positions, no upside down on branches, no laying in the Money Tree pot. Nothing! No gaping! Nothing! He seems to be as happy as can...

Not well cham looking for advice b4 vet visit

I have very little experience but you should only fog when the ambient temp is below 68 degrees. I would drop basking temp and only fog when temps are 68 or below. Panthers need more humidity than Veiled Chams. I run a cool mist humidifier 24/7 in my reptile room, near my Panther, to keep...
