    Multiberculata mated

Sounds just about right to me... Have to check out a couple of wine coolers, mini fridges and see if I can tinker with the thermostat. For now if the temps stay as is they should be good. The idea above just needs less attention as at the moment Icannot afford to not change ice packs...

    Multiberculata mated

That is good to know thanks Fischer...so up until now I am getting temps of 62 - 70 depending on how fresh the ice pack is, what u think? ...in the meantime I am going to be looking into a wine cooler and a separate thermostat ... How low is too low of a temp?

Eggs Layed 30/05/14 She did not use any of the two bins I placed for her...lesson learnt. Next time its either sand and soil at the bottom of the enclosure or placing her in a large tub with soil.. Have 14 eggs in total which have been placed in a small container, which is then placed in a...

    Jackson Chameleon Lighting

You are lucky to have the adequate climate for a Jacksons so I would keep him out day and night..now since, compared to the wild, your cham is restricted to his enclosure..you must make sure to provide all the necessities in there. You say there is no sun hitting the cage, still he will get uvb...

Help with very aggresive 9 month old male Veiled

Well some are just aggressive however, although for us two weeks seems like enough time, it is not..give him some more time so that you can seen if he going to remain aggressive or not. If he scares away from hand feeding, start placing feeders on a branch where he can see it, move away, and...

    Multiberculata mated

Right, just a quick update...it has now been around 40 days since my pair has mated...she is definitely gravid and is starting to roam the bottom of the cage.. She is trying to get out of the bottom of the cage and seems to be trying to find a lower spot, however she cannot get any lower than...

What is the worst part of caring for chameleons?

bound to happen at that angle ! I felt bug juice spray on my hand, and seen it on the enclosure's glass...luckily, that is the closest I've got!

    breeding problem

I Would not recommend just putting a male and and a female in the same cage, especially in the male's cage due to an invasion of territory. Try introducing the male to the female and observe the reaction from both ends . the male generally is always ready to mate, like humans :) the female...

    DIY rain attachment

;) makes perfect sense ..you can prepare your 3rd actually ! I had to replace a few rings due to making holes which spray, so the others barely drip.. I have used a flow adjuster before the rain loops to make sure both cages get the adequate pressure ..about what you said before...
