I got him from RMS Aquatics. A local place I’ve been getting my fish for years. They only do fish and reptiles. I totally agree about the plants. The first few pics are old, I have since put a ficus and a Pothos plant, which he loves to eat!! I did hand the fake ones on the outside of the cage...

The same place I’ve been getting fish for years. It’s called RMS Aquatics. It’s a local place. They’re pretty knowledgeable about fish and reptiles, so that was helpful. I just never asked how old he was lol

I’m guessing so. They didn’t tell me how old he was, but on here I’m being told about 4 months when I got him. Does that seem right to you as well?

He’s about 4 inches long, not sure in the weight. I’ve never had him to the vet.

Perfect!! I knew I needed something like this but wasn’t sure where to get it.

So I’ll see if it works better tomorrow, but it barely got to 70 degrees with the 60 watt after 5 hours. I’m def getting the linear bulb this weekend.

I went back and forth on glass or screen due to the weather up here. I was worried the cold outside and dry heat inside would make it hard to manage humidity. Maybe I’ll try the fan.

Thank you, I actually did, this in an older pic. I’ve added a few branches and covered the pic on the dripper. The rest is the same.

I have added a few sticks, so maybe he’s getting used to the changes. I’m going to get the temp down once I get home. Hoping that helps. He does spend quite a bit of time in the middle of the viv

So I have a 75 watt bulb, maybe try a 60? The pics attached are what I have now. I’ve made a few changes, I’ll take new pics when I get home from work.

Oops, I stopped using that night light about a week ago. I forgot to change it in there. No other critters here. Could he be seeing his reflection?

his mouth is open a lot. I was worried about URI but I’ve never seen any white stringy stuff or bubbles in his mouth. He’s never made any noise. There may still be a cricket or two down below him. He also just finished his first shed with me.
