You are right about the flex pipe. I just give it a shake out to get rid of excess water and clean it with the rest of the pipes.
Threaded plastic isn't used over here. Everything is push fit using a glue or what's called speed fit that won't come apart again.
You can try heat but other than...
I take it they haven't been glued with poly pipe glue? If that's the case, forget it lol. If they have just been push fitted, they should twist and pull apart. You could try warming with a hair dryer but don't burn your hands when you grab them.
No point in linking to mine given the miles between us but it produces enough fog for 2 chams and a BRB and only set at 70% of max.
It connects to 22mm pvc pipe and using T and 90* pieces, feeds to the setups. You may need to fine tune by restricting the outputs to get just the right amount of...
From the pics It seems limited to a couple of scales so I'm not thinking burn here. Possibly caught it on a bit of sharp cable tie if you used to put in branches?
You can try using Pevidine, diluted 1 part Pevidine to 9 parts water and dabbed on with a Q tip.
^ Agreed. I've no idea why anyone would bring home a chameleon or any other animal without having everything set up and dialled in well in advance.
I'm going to guess yet another terrible 'chameleon kit' setup but I hope very much I'm wrong.
On the plus side, help is here to ensure your little...
So normally we use height to create temperature zones given chams are arborial. All of our other reptiles have lower and wider enclosures and gradients are created side to side very easily.
It's unusual but I See no reason why you can't lay your setup sideways (assuming you can safely use the...
There are well recorded instances of pets, mainly birds, dying from airborne contaminants, especially from fried foods when kept in or near kitchens. Maybe something to bear in mind.
Please complete this form and add pictures of the chams and cages. We need a lot more to work with.

If you use any products that are an aerosol, e.g. furniture polish, put it directly on the cloth then clean. You really don't want anything chemical in the air, inc scented candles, plug in air fresheners etc.
It's the same as keeping marine fish, if it's in the air, it's in the water.
There's another type of jungle dawn that is a bank of LED's and not a spot. They don't give off much heat downward and have a built in aluminium heat sink. I use these as the give a wider spread of light and with great success.
I had to be up 3am this morning but was following this till nearly midnight. I was fairly positive it was a plug, but man it was big. And oh boy, am I tired right now lol.
Add to that plexiglass with screen top and all that water/moisture and a dreaded fountain, this is not a healthy place for a cham.
Please fill out the form and be prepared to make major changes to your husbandry.
Noticed you used 'chams & they' so I assume you have 2. Just want to make sure they are housed separately and so that they can't see each other. They can NOT be kept together.
