Is this a burn?

I noticed a little while ago that there was this black scab looking thing on my baby’s left hand. Seeing as I don’t know if it’s a scab or burn I didn’t want to mess with it. Does anyone know for sure what this is ?
Since the “scab” showed up on her I have moved her lights up higher so it can prevent more burns (if it is a burn) just in case.
But if anyone can let me know for sure what this is or a way to help heal it that would be very helpful.

Most likely a scratch, a regular skin scracth will show up as black, although I am not an expert with veiled chams, there are many peole on here that is though

Wasn’t trying to be mean but we can only work with what you give us. Maybe invest in a cheap macro lens for your phone. Worth every penny when it comes to something like this!

No I know, I just realized how bad of a picture it really was that’s a really good idea, If only my baby wasn’t so scared of my phone

That would make it easier but even if he cooperated your phone would still struggle to give you a sharp pic when your that close. Just bought this for my iPhone, cheap(~$20) and works great for this.

FYI Those macro lens do not work if you are using an otter box case for your iphone.

I honestly can not tell. It would be an odd place for a burn. If your girl is friendly can you get a pic of the bottom part of the foot where you think there is an issue?

Oh dang I do have an otter box but I could always just take it off for pics if I end up getting the lens

I thought it was an odd place too but before I moved her cage around she used to climb on the screen of her cage so that how I’m assuming she got it? I will definitely try here in a little to take some better pics of her foot. she is currently in a mood sadly

Yeah I have the defender case so trying to get it off to use with the lens was a nightmare. They work great if they are able to totally wrap around the lens on the phone. Otherwise you get weird light coming in the openings from the case having a square like shape and the macro lens having a circle.

Sorry it’s taken so long to update on this. I’ve noticed the mark has went down a little, I think it might be healing on its own. As I said I would I took somebody more pictures of her out in the sun so everyone could see better

I would still love some tips on how to help it heal, if anyone has experience with this type of thing

From the pics It seems limited to a couple of scales so I'm not thinking burn here. Possibly caught it on a bit of sharp cable tie if you used to put in branches?

You can try using Pevidine, diluted 1 part Pevidine to 9 parts water and dabbed on with a Q tip.
