Update: I found a 5-gallon bucket that fits the 12x12 requirement. I attached some fake foliage (just for looks) to try to hide the ugly bucket.

Good point! She hasn’t been digging yet, so hopefully the one she has will be fine for now...at least until she gets her new enclosure this summer.

It is just organic potting soil and water.

I guess I could always have a larger one to transfer her to when I see her digging.

Until I finish building her a larger cage, I planted some live plants in her laying bin to save some room. Is that ok? They are planted on the outside edges. The bin is 15 inches wide so she still has room to dig. The bin is only 11inches tall though. I know 12 was the minimum suggested but...
