Thank you, I will look into buying Black soldier fly larva! One question, so if I feed crickets every day and then every other day of the week I add 1-3 worms. I will add both black soldier fly larva and hornworms at the same time. Is that a good feeding schedule?
So originally I have going to have super worms, hornworms, and crickets as staple feeders/treats....the worms would be givin every other day. But, after looking through some forums I’ve realized that the supperworms were not to be given as a staple/treat but more of a once a week part of the...
I don’t know if holes would do it...but I would recommend just getting a new screen cage. Also I like the new upgrades! Also get a temp gun for backup themperature gauge, it helps to make sure your reptile thermostate is correct..
Agreed all the empty space should be filled like in the wild! Add a ton more leaves and vines,as well as more branches! I recommend the ones linked below:

Oh good thing I can return it! I will look into the Exo Terra Thermostat. Since, I’m going to the Reptile Super show next week, I will ask them directly. As well as purchase it from there.
Separate question: Can the basking spot be 84 degress rather 82... that is as close as I could get it?
Thanks for all your responses but, I actually went with buying a thermostat controller....I don’t know if that’s a better option or worse? To be honest I was sceptical of buying it but, I will see how it works today!
Welcome to the Forums! A good way to get the humidity up is having live plants and misting regularly... also use a humidity gauge to measure the humidity. It is recommended to get a thermometer and a temp gun to make sure your temperature is right. Again it is important but not mandatory to get...
Thanks, I will try that but at the moment the humidifier is on and is maintaining a temp of about 84 degrees so, I will try to raise the light fixture!
Hey so I’ve been experimenting with the heat bulb so I could get the perfect temperature for masking. At the moment I am using a 60watt that gets the basking up to 87 degrees. That is too high for a 4 month old so, I tried a 50 watt, but I found that it only went up to 78 degress at the basking...
I agree with everything you just said Cham-wow...but I would recommend a longer listing duration in order to let them flush their eyes and drink. As you said free range feeding is the better option instead of cup feeding because it stimulates them. Also you can with that cage for about 5-6months...
Well that was a Christmas Miracle! Thank you for coming to the Forums for advice..we appreciate you finding a suitable home for her. Have a Merry Christmas!
