@jamest0o0 thank you, this is what I need my husband to see so we have a chance at trying them! Very helpful!!!
@MissSkittles, where do you buy your discoid roaches?
@Sullydatechie this is why my husband is so opposed to them, lol!
Thank you both. Yeah, we're in Michigan, so it's cold right now. The crickets are kept in our furnace/laundry room, so it's plenty hot in there, but the roaches could be kept elsewhere in the basement. It's my husband who needs convincing on the roaches. He used to live in the south and so he's...
Hi all,
Most of the time it is Yoda’s owner, Ellie, writing on here, but this is her mom. Our current dilemma is that Ellie is quite freaked out by feeding Yoda crickets. Yoda eats them great and he’s really growing. We have a good system down, but my daughter is terrified to handle the...
She is so cute!! I would add some live plants. Live plants are good because they give humidity, they are good foliage for her to hide in, and they are good for drinking spots. Put some more sticks in there too.:)
here is a great resource on plants...
looks good! I want to tell you that you need rocks at the bottom of the pant. it needs it because otherwise, the cham will eat the sand and made will get sick.:)
For gut loading, you are supposed to give fruits and veggies like are on this sheet.

Remember that chameleons live in the trees. So try to put a lot of sticks up high. I use zip ties to secure an empty pot on a strong stick. Then, I slide a slightly smaller potted plant inside. I like this trick. These two videos are really helpful...
Hello, I have had Yoda (veiled) for about five weeks and I think it is time to try to hand feed. I know it takes a very long time before a cham will do this. That's why I want to know all of the tips and tricks that helped your cham become comfortable enough to hand feed. What should I be doing...
