Eating plant matter

Recently I noticed the plants in my male furcifer willsii cage has been getting tiny mouth bites. This is a China doll plant that he took a bite from.

I feed roaches (dubias, green banana and hissers) silkworms, bsf, they don’t seem into larva, isopods, blue bottle flys, wax moths and earwigs. I think that’s everything

Your welcome ? I also thought it was interesting when I first seen it due to the fact that I’ve only read that veiled chameleons do this. In the year I’ve had I’m he’s only done this a few times. I wish I could ask chong why he does it so I could have a real answer, if anyone knows someone who specks lizard tell them to slide Into my pms

There are a few more that are known to eat vegetation, fruits, etc.

[Motherlode Chameleon]

This is interest that Furcifer willsii eats plants. The CIN documented Furcifer pardalis eating plant matter in Diego Suarez in their first video "Madagascar A Land Like No Other". The Furcifer pardalis were eating mostly small fruits.
