    Spaying Experience & Infection

Hi, The post you responded to is a little old. I wanted to wish Kiwi good luck and a speedy recovery! Nice work observing and knowing something was wrong and acting on it. I hope if anything ever goes wrong with my little guy, I catch it in time as well.

    is my chameleons shed normal?

Her shed looks okay to me. Her eye being closed is not a good sign. But I believe in another post you said you have a vet appointment already so hopefully they will have answers there.

    Endoparasites of pet reptiles

I have a heavy case of the heebe Jeebes after listening to this podcast. I always was my hands after handling my Cham out of fear of transferring anything. But the way you highlighted the fact that it's on the handle, etc. Makes me want to go scrub everything down right now😵‍💫. After going to a...

New chameleon owner be gentle :)

I did not know that the direction the leaves grow made a difference! I did notice I like the vines I have growing in an upward angle best. Makes sense!

    Verify Chameleon Gender

Your second pic does have a teeny tiny little bump on it. At 13 months it would be waaay more pronounced and it would have stripes on his sides if it was a boy. It would also have a huge casque. It is a girl! Here is a link to some info: https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/veiled/...

New chameleon owner be gentle :)

That is definitely he sneaky face...what is he up to? I would put another one in only because hiding places is a must like @Tkrd69 said. For their security and for getting out of the "sun". It will be a while before the plants fill out, and when they do you can take out the extra pothos and use...

That would be a pretty sight! I certainly don't have those skills but I'd love to see it. Amazon has these cute rear view mirror ornaments that look like the real thing. I only saw panther and veiled though.

    Need help and opinions please

What I would do in this situation is schedule a vet visit to include getting a fecal done to rule out parasites. I would also fill out a husbandry review form and post to this thread. There are some very experienced people here who can look over it and make sure everything in that department is...

    Need help and opinions please

You could try letting them loose and see if it helps. However, if he wasn't eating before the move then the new enclosure isn't the issue. It is concerning because at that age they should eat 15 crickets every day.
