Just a few weeks, and I'm not an expert, this is the first device like this that I've bought (digital hygrometer that is). I found it after reading a post here that mentioned the brand - you may find that post if you search this brand, Extech.
They have some with detachable probes. That might...
I can't speak to "most accurate", but I picked this:

Less than $45 shipped from various vendors on line.
I use a separate remote thermometer for a basking reading, and the probe for the above mid cage where it doesn't catch...
Po$t what you figure out will work and see if you and others can meet in the market. There are definitely shoppers for nice big cages out here in the internets... From what I can see you've made a really nice set up.
I'm visiting in Hawaii right now, today we went by the very lovely Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden on Oahu. I was talking with a nice guide who was showing us some of the very exotic plants from around the world, and I asked about chameleons. Boy, you would have thought I said "baby satan" three...
I'm trying with Dubai now as well, but in retrospective may have been better off with a different sort. Check this posting:

Green Banana Roach kind of has my attention, but I've got to see what happens with the...
Now that I have all the vermiculite out of the plants, he's eating dirt. For the larger plant I've laid in a bunch of medium river stones, but the smaller pots with the pothos spread all over still have dirt, which is apparently very appetizing.
I know he can find and use the cricket cup I...
Mistking has a list of distributors that might be a way to avoid longer shipping times (particularly given weather issues):

I bought a 6+ month mail veiled a month ago on impulse. Not entirely, I'd seen the animal before at the local chain pet store where we get cat food, and my 11 year old niece (I'm 52) recently got a young Jackson female. (I think it may have come from Backwater.) My wife and I picked up some cat...
The Dragon Ledges from Bill Strand are really helpful. He's also got a nice blog posting on advanced cage setup. I decided to not do the foam for a naturalistic look, but did use his ideas otherwise.

I haven't given up, just reassessing. I'm about to put him in a new cage, and he's not eating from the cup I set up as best I can tell, only when the crickets escape. The new cage has a white bottom, maybe some roaches down there will be attractive... Thanks for the advice!
Yeah, I suspect Henri was spoiled at the pet store on meal worms, or maybe super worms. He sure goes for the horn and silk worms offered and seems to be holding out for more rather than shoot a cricket. I wonder how long it will take him to reconsider that strategy. Maybe not as long as it will...
