Looks like your off to a good start. But I would also check your humidity in different parts of the cage it appears your gauge is at he front top corner. Another idea you might consider is the styrofoam background I would take it out and have it mounted to the outside back. So you still get the...
I too live in a very dry area aka antelope valley. You can go as far as to cover the sides and back of the cage to help with humidity here is what I have done check it it out and see if it can help you out.

You can use the search feature before asking the same type of questions that have been answered already. Start here as it’s not a simple answer

I would keep the shower curtain between the 2 cages, but change out the rest with what I did here to give a nice and clean look

Definitely agree but we do what we can to make things the best we can. I only shut off and on the basking light my UVB and 6500k lights will stay on the whole 12 hours. With the basking light going off for 20 minutes of the hour its kinda like nature when clouds cover the sun. And my ambient...
I use smart plugs on my lights but like what @snitz427 said they are bulky and block the second outlets so I’m was thinking of trying one of these 2 out
BN-LINK WiFi Heavy Duty Smart Plug Outlet, No Hub Required with Energy Monitoring and Timer Function, White, Compatible with Alexa and Google...
It crazy you asked that cause I just recently changed my heat light schedule because I have seen the same type of activity from my Panthers the lights are on for the first few hours the on for 40 minutes then off for 20 minutes this will continue though out the 12 hour cycle.
This thread is now 5 pages with 90% or more of it I would say a debate between @PetNcs & @cyberlocc why not get together on a more personal note and figure it all out? And let us know the out come. When @cyberlocc reach out to me about where I got the care sheet information from I gave him the...
I use 1/2 inch pvc piping between 4 cages just T off where you want the fog to enter the cage. I cut like a 45 degree angle at the end so that moisture doesn’t build up causing the fog to back up. That is a problem I had with the expandable tubing moisture would build up in the tube causing the...
There is definitely more then just 3 signs that your Cham isn’t doing well so imo if your going to do a video do it right. If not your probably going to end up with more questions then answers. Can’t wait to see how your video turns out.
@cyberlocc yes Madagascar and Yeman hit those high temps but I would think like with any reptile they will move about to adjust what fits there needs. I couldn’t see any reptile just basking in the high temperatures all day. I live in the Mojave desert aka Antelope Valley and keep my Rhino and...
TBH who are we to judge what’s right or wrong? Dose nature say oh your a male/female/juvenile or neonates these are wild animals we keep in captivity to our best knowledge. For instance Veilds and Panther are found in Florida along with many other reptiles that have adjusted and thriving.
