What is the yearly cost of Cham maintenance?

Hey guys, I’m doing research and trying to get all the information I can before buying my first veiled or Jackson chameleon. I’ve owned dogs geckos and fish. What would you guys say is the average yearly price regarding maintenance, vet visits, bulb replacements etc. (Looking to breed crickets so food should be less of a problem). Also not looking to completely overly pamper it. Just looking for the base cost.

It’s going to cost a lot when you first get going but once you start to figure it out you can find ways to save a bit of money. Ask questions before buying stuff we can help you save money. Also breeding crickets sounds like a good idea until you try it.
