You can buy more of them to keep your bug bins cleaner. I know it seems like putting a fire out with more fire, but it works. You'll often find them listed as "cleaner crew", as mentioned above.
Yeah, the Coastal web site is a little dorky. When it asks you which coast, click the "Gee, I don't know what coast I live on" option and you should see the accurate stock listing. I just checked and they're available now.

Probably not. My 15 month old, 290-gram panther boy sometimes still climbs up the walls. I lined the interior with plastic grid garden fencing, which is dirt cheap at a garden center (Lowes or Home Depot will have it) and a better gripping surface than the bare screen.
I think it's finally starting to look like a thing, rather than a bunch of stuff.
