    Your best bet would probly be to drill though the top and mount the lights on brackets inside the cage, maybe try to drill a large enough hole to run the cables through as well.     What locale is he/she looks male to me as well. I used to keep falys which are notorious for slow growth, i believe some locales grow faster then others. He is definitely a runt tho!

    If youre worried about dehydration you might want to invest in a fogger or humidifier to run for several hours during the night. Youre also going to need alot more light then a single t5 and a basking bulb if you want to keep those hibiscus alive.
