That is my project for friday. I’m getting a better suited tree for the cage, so i will be doing that on friday as well
I’m also still having a lot of trouble picking him up. I’m yet to be successful with it. So I’m nervous about getting him out of the cage
Turk is still sketched out by me
I think he gets better every time i feed him though
He now lets me cup feed him, which was out of the question when i got him
Btw he has been drinking a lot more
Hadn’t eaten that much today, but i think thats because of the shed
And now that you mention it some of the parts that have already shed are slightly brighter
Thanks. hes very grumpy now due to the shedding.
thanks for the compliment on my cage however I think i will be switching the tree out soon. i don't like the big wide leaves. it doesn't seem to be as comfortable for him to climb on. i want a more branch-y plant
I just received my new chameleon Turk over the weekend and he just started shedding.
this is my first chameleon, so i don't know a lot about this process.
What do I need to know/do about this process?
My name is Joel and I’m new to the forum and the chameleon world
I received Turk over the weekend
He’s very nervous around me but he’s getting there.
He cup fed while i held the cup today!
He also started shedding today. I never realized how quickly that happens!
Hadn’t even looked that closely at the pic.
It’s pretty scary when people that are making things for the animals do things like that.
It reminds me of companies that make hamster/chinchilla/rabbit cages that don’t actually make cages big enough for the expert recommended size
Getting a lamp for my enclosure (18x18x36) and im not sure which one to get. At the moment limited to what i can find in stores, but i can upgrade later.
Is the one in the pic ok, or is it too small? Should i be getting the larger one?
Not referring to the bulbs, just the fixture itself...
