thanks for the compliment on my cage however I think i will be switching the tree out soon. i don't like the big wide leaves. it doesn't seem to be as comfortable for him to climb on. i want a more branch-y plant

You could always add some pothos for him to climb on the vines. Those things grow like weeds! I have about 10 feet of pothos vines wrapped up, down, and all around my cage, and my male used to love to eat it!

I received Turk over the weekend
He’s very nervous around me but he’s getting there.
He cup fed while i held the cup today!
He also started shedding today. I never realized how quickly that happens!

Welcome Joel and Turk...I am Cindy and I am owned by Turk's brother Lil Louie. When he gets bigger he will be King Louie. Nice to see another sibbling find a good home. We are from central Florida near Ocala so we have the advantage of lots of sunshine for our boys.

That's right...you have 2 of the little beauty's. Lil Louie is not fond of a camera or phone shoved in his face either...the minute he sees either he heads for the leaves.

They look so pitiful when the shed, don't they? Emma had a big piece stuck to the end of her eye turret and everywhere her eye moved, so did it! It was quite funny to watch. But she finally got it off after a long misting, using her hind foot like a dog scratching at their ear. She's steadily growing for me. She's up to 32g, as of yesterday.

Phoebe came adjusted . She is the sweetest little girl . I will say when we are home our babies are out with us . They are so used to being out and with us .

I think he gets better every time i feed him though
He now lets me cup feed him, which was out of the question when i got him

So Turk is already bossy . He’s letting you know whom is boss . Keep the interaction with him . Before no time he will be on your head .

Did you every get Turk a tree or plant for some out of the cage time? I think they adjust right away when not in the cage. Most chameleons hate being caged and some become territorial and cage aggressive.
