    Keeping my Cham comfortable...suggestions?

Recently my cham started having some twitching issues. After a vet visit its clear that he had MBD, long story short don't buy chams from your typical pet store (petsmart). The vet diagnosed him with a failing kidney. Tuesday was the vet visit and since then I have been instructed to give him...

    Twitching, HELP!

Test came back. Sadly kidney failure and super low calcium. It's a waiting game now. Vet couldn't offer is much more then that. At this point we are still forcing meds, in your own personal opinion would you stop? I'm considering it because I think it's causing more stress and harm then helping...

    Twitching, HELP!

That's really weird because Eugene has the pattern on the right, but physically (silloete or casque wise) looks like the one on the left. Vet said you would only be able to verify with probing and I won't do that to him while he's ill. Maybe her theory was right.

    Twitching, HELP!

Im not trying to be rude but I just feel like some of the stuff I already stated. Im not only getting overwhelmed with what I am dealing with but then I am answering things over and over again. I only dust with D3 2 times a month. Im not going to buy a dripper if he is using the mister to drink...

    Twitching, HELP!

Also, he pooped today and It looks perfectly normal. He also drank some water that I put up to his lips after he fought me about the calcium. So he still has some fight in him and the natural drive to drink water and poop. Just trying to find some positives in all this :) Celebrating for even...

    Twitching, HELP!

We had a vet visit today. We are waiting on a blood panel to come back. In the mean time he has calcium drops we are giving him every day. He hasnt gotten any better since yesterday. Seems worse if I am to be honest. He's weaker and when he gets upset its kind of random movements, nothing with...

    Twitching, HELP!

Ive been through this forum before, with rude comments and people thinking they can say what ever they want and make you feel bad about it. I know tons of people that stay away from forums because of people like that. @Andee was there last time and actually listened and offered advice rather...

    Twitching, HELP!

He doesn't hang it continuously and he is using his legs. Its just happened to be hanging which is why i noticed it when I woke up. When I took him out today he moved fine. I put him back in and his back leg hung for a second, twitching. Then he placed it on the brach again and wondered off. I...

    Twitching, HELP!

Today while my cham was sitting on a branch I noticed his leg twitching. It wasn't on a branch it was hanging and twitching which alarmed me. So i went over to check him. He seemed normal. I did the usual morning routine to turn the water on and what not. As I went to go feed him I noticed 2...

Free Horn Worms for pick up Bay Area. HURRY!

If you want a couple hornworms I have them for you. The weather out here is really hot so my worms grew a lot faster then expected. They are huge and I can't get rid of them fast enough. Not for small chams! I was letting a left over one free roam the cage today and right before I managed to get...

    Horn worm help

Im new to keeping hornworms and have just ran into the issue of size. With their rapid growth Im worried my cham shouldn't be eating them when they reach a certain size. I know the general rule for juveniles is the length between their eyes but I have been feeding him horn wormsn and super worms...

Feeding time has become a little strange

Its not 100 under the basking light. Its 100 right under the heat lamps if they are on during the summer. (Which they are not because its already 95-100 here) its not 100 in any other place. Under the basking light, the closest possible position where the heat is the highest is now is 95, I just...

Feeding time has become a little strange

Should I also be introducing silk worms or should I hold off and introduce them until later? How much does my variety beyond what I am getting now matter? Do you think Horn, super worms and crickets are sufficient?

Feeding time has become a little strange

So I am making changes to his diet. I am adding super worms and hornworms. So with that and crickets how many should I be feeding him of each, each day.

Feeding time has become a little strange

So i should have a separate calcium supplement, that is only calcium. and then give him the calcium/D3 when I use the multivitamins?

Feeding time has become a little strange

I wasn't saying I didn't want the advice. I was actually really accepting of it and already made changes. What I was bringing up are corrections. Like yes I do offer D3 and yes it is 100 degrees but not the entire cage. I am willing to listen and learn. I think the way things are read are often...

Feeding time has become a little strange

I just changed the UV bulb last month, my calcium has D3 in it already. I have a tank full of crickets and do feed them kale and spinach on occasion but don't do it often due to spoil from the heat and cage maintenance. I will indeed introduce it more and try some other bugs. I was told to avoid...
