roaches really don't bother me but my wife will freak out if I ever bring them home , so I don't use them . she is ok with every other feeder - even the frozen rodents for my snakes - but no roaches!!!!!!
I also believe in keeping them outside as much as possible . after all in the wild they are outside with all the variables in sun , shade , rain and temperature. being in real sunlight also seems to improve their color and growth .
I got two 3 month old veiled chameleons about 5 weeks ago . I put them in 18x18x24 cages because I already had 3 of them . perfect size . the lizards found their food , they eat like pigs and have almost doubled their size since I got them . your cages should be fine . chameleons are good...
my quad, Steve , lives in the bay window in my living room . I also have 2 birds and he likes to socialize with them . he also likes to climb on the laptop.

a light shower . if the lizard is in a screen cage the screen will break up the water droplets sufficiently . what I look to do is simulate a rain shower - which they get in the wild . make sure the lizard has enough foliage . they usually position themselves under the leaves and utilize the...
that is one of the reasons I use screen cages . it allows heat to escape better and yet they can still access the higher temps near the lamp . they can also get away from the heat . in glass enclosures it is hard to escape the heat and properly thermo regulate their body temp. if you have a...
