As a rookie to chameleons (and reptiles in general) I have a lot of questions. So my new question is...
How difficult is it to build a screened terrarium?
I know I need to use a small habitat for the young chameleons so I don't really want to shuffle out $50+ for a temporary habitat so I...
So I am definitely planning on using live plants for my chameleon habitat but I am wondering how you go about caring for the plants? I mean, they are living things that need food and proper lighting.
So I'm wondering do you have to pull the plants out every once in a while to care for them...
I'm working on putting together the best habitat for my first chameleon and would really love to see some pictures of other peoples chameleon habitats! my main idea is foliage, I'm getting live plants and would like to see what plants everyone else is using for theirs chams.
Pictures appreciated (:
the natural rain sounds excellent. I know our chameleons at the store always hated getting misted so I really want to avoid misting if I can. The American made bit is a nice perk (:
Also which system to buy on AquaZamp? They seem to give several different options but am unsure of which one...

unfortunately where I am right now (a very tiny one bedroom apartment) I wouldn't be able to get the screened enclosure. So I might have to hold off on buying a chameleon I guess
Thanks for the links jannb! I was informed the exo terra was a really nice set up. I bought it too long ago to return it so is there any way to make it work?
Well I work a local pet store and I recently took a liking to our chameleons. I've bought an exo terra terrarium and a nice fogger system. I'm slowly purchasing everything that the habitat requires.
I am not interested in buying one of the chameleons from my store as we do not know their...
