So in teaching the boys how to get creative I made my drainage setup. I think it turned out alright. I used foam to make plant holders and facilitate the flow of drainage and then fiberglass to get the final setup. I added aluminum screen after drilling the hole and then added a bulkhead drain...

LOL. Not sure who Nick Barta is, but that was crafted by myself and my 12 year old so as you can see it's not exactly a patent pending design. We just saw a plastic bottle design and changed it to one a little larger and more sturdy for long term use with Aluminum screen. So far it has worked...

I heard that if it's 20 inches or less go with 5.0 and if greater than that then 10.0. I'm absolutely no expert on it however.

Home depot had a clearance 4 inch PVC pipe for a good price so I thought...food cup for vacations. Lol. I used the swedge end to slide over the main cup to secure the aluminium mesh for the base and for climbing to stimulate my cham. I then put magnets on it so I can secure it strong enough...

I see no benefit to the animal from a waterfall. Only hazards. The risks do not outweigh the rewards in my opinion.
