My chameleon haven’t eaten any of his crickets in a week. He constantly stalks and hunts and shoots his tongue into the dirt of the plants but won’t touch the crickets in his feeder. Idk what to do

Is using something like repshy big burger or cricket crack enough for gutloading? Or do you still need to add more? Obviously calcium dusting and multivitamin is still necessary

Yea I was still thinking that over. I tried fake vines draping over but it didn’t look right. Then I was thinking of getting one of those moss type carpets they sell for other reptile enclosures. But thanks that’s a good idea

I have a Pro Mist PM-60. It comes with a decent timer also which I hear the Mistking timer is no good. But I do use the mistking nozzles. And ya I have 9 live plants now wanted to give them room to grow but I’ll look at my options for adding more

Anybody have input on things to add/change? So far he seems much less stressed than when he was cramped in his smaller reptibreeze cage

I have an 8 month old male veiled chameleon. He is in the massive Dragon Strand Clearside Atrium. I have a Pro Mist PM 60 with 3 misting nozzles in the enclosure. Here is my current mist schedule. I was curious if having a longer mist for close to 10 minutes once a day is too much? 6 am - 5...

I’ve noticed little tiny bugs crawling around in Weebos Cage. I’m not sure what they are does anybody know what they may be? Or if this is common? No picture they are tiny and move quick but I’ll try.

Well....I left 2 hornworms on a branch when I left for work. I found one laying at the bottom of the cage when I got home. The other is MIA.....looks like he got one

Yea I know they aren’t tamable I was just curious to see if Chameleon’s who see their keepers and are around people more often tend to be more trusting. I don’t touch my guy because he puffs up as soon as I get close lol

You got lucky to have such a trusting Cham lol mine is 7months old now. He’s been firstly since he was a baby. He used to squeak as a baby he would get so mad lol

How did you get to this point with him. My guy can’t wait to get out, but wants to on his own. He hisses if I try to help

How much time per day do you spend with or around Your Chameleon? People are always asking how to “tame” their chameleon and I would imagine the amount of time you are around yours relates to the level of trust it has for you. So I’m curious to hear how much time members spend with their Cham...

Ok cool maybe I’ll try moving it a little lower then. And you just leave worms on branches and he eats them? My guy seems to be really picky. Supers he only eats out of a cup in my hand. Hornworms I’ve only gotten him to eat one before also out of a cup in my hand
