Yea that's what I'm doing right now but I can't find any bins as big as that large atrium

Ok so the last thing I need to figure out is drainage. I'm looking at the dragon strand large atrium which is 45.5 LX 22W. The drainage tray they sell doesn't funnel water into the center so I would need to find a container that large to collect water underneath. What are other members here...

I'm going through this same situation now. I could use some advice on getting distilled water though. Are you saying you buy distilled water every week?! I got through at least 5 gallons a week that sounds like a ton of money

My last concern with the clear enclosure is it says to use distilled water only....the mistking misting system goes through a lot of water per day and I have regular tap water at my apartment. Seems like constantly buying distilled water will get very expensive

I'm also going to be ordering the XL dragon strand. I really like the branches that you're using in yours so I have to ask....what type of tree are they off of and did you just go outside and find them yourself?

I just emailed Dragon Strand about ordering the Large Clearside Atrium. That thing is beautiful.

I just fell in love with this atrium. Only question, it says the clear side style is best for chameleons where only 2 sides are screen and the rest is a clear non glass material. I thought chameleons needed a full screen cage to work best?

Which large atrium is this? Who makes it?

Ok awesome thanks a lot everyone. I do think the width is a better idea because like you said, now that he's getting longer that's where I see most of the cramping is side to side movement.

Hmm so you'd be suggesting the 36X18 then? Sacrifice a little height for more width?

I have a male veiled chameleon. 6 months old and he is in the Large Reptibreeze now (18X18X36) and it is getting a little tight for him in there with all the plants and such. Hard to decide if the 24X24 or the 36X18 would be better

Is the Extra Large Reptibreeze open air cage the largest available without going custom? Dimensions are 24X24X48. Haven't seen anything bigger

Yea it's on a timer and turns off at night. But why not a red light?

Sweet I like both of those. I've been concerned my cage setup is a little too cluttered so when I go to the XL I'm going to try and create more space for him to move around. And the Red light is a heat lamp. Infrared 40 watt
