One eye is closed, the other is looking around, so that is nice to know. I'm a little worried on handling, how would you recommend picking up a baby bearded dragon?
I know this is the wrong place to ask, but I just got a brand new baby baby bearded dragon. He/she keeps closing its eyes, and I have a 10.0 UVB bulb and a 100W light bulb for heat. The basking is about 100 degrees, and the cool is about 85. I'm really nervous, I tried to hold he/she, but I...
I haven't hand fed him yet, as the worms at the store were too large for him. I can't believe how fast he's growing, he has like doubled his size. I love this little guy. :D
He keeps running to the front of the cage when I'm near it, and stares right at me, and looks happy. Then I try to open the door, and see if he would like to come out, and he gets all mad.
Yup, this is my first one, argh every little thing scares me to death. In general chameleons don't really like to be handled, so I'm not pushing it too far until he's comfortable. He tries to bite me if I put my hand too close, so I'm not going to try to handle him for a wile XD At the young...
I left his door open for about 20 minutes, and he just stayed where he was. I tried offering my hand to him, and he looked like he was going to snap at me. I wont offer my hand to him for a couple months now :P. I'm going to try to get some worms to feed him.
My male panther chameleon is about 3 and a half months old, and I wanted to buy him some worms for a little treat. Which species would be the best? I was going to buy some silk worms or tomato horn worms, but I just wanted to be sure it is safe at that age.
That's great! We let our beardy live outside for the summer in a big cage, then our tortoise rammed it, broke a hole in it and he got out :( He was so sweet, I miss him so much.
