That's very odd, usually plants will help your levels, not lower them. Make sure nothing came on in the house as @etclement to effect the humidity levels

Silk worms I believe are okay, the nice thing about silkworms is they do not need to be gutloaded. Your supplements sound good.

The young ones are always not so colorful, so that might be why he looks sorta grey. I wouldn't be feeding mealworms a lot though as they are high in fat and hard to digest for chameleons. You have a beautiful little boy, good luck! :D

He's been out the whole day. I saw one of his poops, and I grabbed it out. It looked pretty normal to me.

My temp gun just came. His basking is 83.5, and the ambient ranges from 78.5 to 76 depending on the location of the cage. He did not like me sticking my hand in his cage xD
