I bought the herpstat just for this issue. It is pretty expensive but I don’t regret buying it at all as it helps me regulate the basking spot, which in turn helps with the rest of the cage

Looks like you’ve done your research! That’s awesome! So I’ll add a few suggestions but it looks like you’ve got most if not all of the basic husbandry down. Personally, I would try and switch his diet up some. I add Black Soldier Fly Larve into my mix with dubia roaches, silkworms, wax worms...

I noticed that you mentioned you had a red basking bulb. Most people recommend using just a normal colored basking bulb as it’s easier on their eyes.
