    Ya, i just rip the legs off of the crickets so they can't hop out. Maybe start by mounting the cup in the cage first so he gets used to it, then work your way up to holding it.

    I appreciate the advice, but due to me spending close to 1,000$ on him and his setup, and it being christmas a vet trip really isn't feasible at the moment.     I believe so. I just noticed it tonight and I'm pretty sure i would notice something like that. Do chameleons bang their heads on things like other reptiles do?

    Yes. The base of it is almost bent at a 90 degree angle. It doesn't appear to be bleeding at all. I just have no idea how this could have happened.
