    Giardia

I recommend using a 1 :9 bleach :water ratio. Which is what my vet recommended. Get rid of potted plants until his rid of the parasite. Also make sure the cage dries out in between mistings, giardia thrives in moisture/standing water. Scott

Happy 6th Hatch Day Hendershot, My Sweet Boy

He looks great for an old man :). It is quite an accomplishment to raise a panther to that age. I have a 5 year old male, that is still doing well and a female that is over 4 and still doing well although her strength isn't nearly what it used to be. Great job, i hope he makes it to 10. Scott

    Shipping reptiles

Beardie40 worked before for me i think kammers40 also works it was on their sight. Reptiles express usually ends up cheaper even with the syr 40 percent coupon, if you're not dead set on using them. Debbie is great I've spoken with her dozens and dozens of times, and always has been on top...

My little boy has the Coccidia parasite

Here's my 2 cents, ive dealt with coccidia in 4 wcs and 3 cbs. All panthers, the 3 cbs all came to me with it. None of my personal collection have ever gotten it, due to solid quarantine and never cross contaminating. Tip 1, try to never to buy crickets from a pet store they often times...

How long should the UVB be

10 % would be fine, that is what i use. Screen cuts the uvb down by about 50 percent. Assuming you have a panther or a veiled 10 % will be fine. Scott

Great week! Panther and quad eggs!

Some of my panthers have experienced shorter gestation periods as they have had more experience breeding. My guess would be she is order. But, i just bred a faly virgin to one of my newer wc faly males and she immediately took gravid coloration and actions. Congrats on the eggs, very...

    Bradypodion pumilum, transvaalense, thamnobates

Paul, they're gorgeous. I can't wait to get into some of the montane species especially since i live in the north and have a nice cool, damp basement. Btw, kalos is doing great and is by far my boys favorite cham. His babies just started hatching not to long ago. Scott

Can Parasites Be Passed to Eggs?

Thanks Scott, that was very informative. Ive heard in the past the general rule was live birth yes and eggs no. But, that makes sense. The wc female's babies that ive had in the past were all parasite free, but that could just be a coincidence. Hows your wc ambilobe's doing? Mine all...

Do anyway use repashy calcium plus lod food

I can't recall what amount of d3 reptivite has, but my guess is its probably really high. Before i started tinkering with repashy, i used sticky tongue farms indoor blend, which contains about half the amount of d3 as repashy's lod formula. But with the sticky tongue you have to incorporate...

Do anyway use repashy calcium plus lod food

There is no need to use the rept vite w/d3, if you're using repashy lo d. It has enough vitamins and d3, i use it 2-3 x a week. It is basically an all in one formula, I use the repashy plain calcium on the other feedings with maybe one feeding a week with no dusting. Scott

    cpt. America

Thanks jann, Laurie, and Carol. He is the most spectacular faly I've ever saw in person, the phone picture doesn't do him justice. With him and several other wc's and the European imports I've gotten, i feel like i have a very exciting nosy faly project ahead of me. It is a privilege to...
