UPDATE: I'm out of town, but my girlfriend is currently taking care of our guy Alby. Anyways, the replacement power adapter arrived today and the mister seems to be working now- quite happy about that. Thank you all for...
The timer has a built in battery, so the display in which you speak of is always on, regardless of whether or not it's plugged into an outlet. Perhaps there's something here that I'm not understanding fully.
Is this a joke? I couldn't imagine returning my guy after caring for him and all his buggy friends for 3 years, and replacing him with a new cham. Although, i guess if that's an actual option, people must actually do that.
I'm confused by what you mean by display. Are you referring to the display on the meter? I just know every thing I have tried has resulted in well, nothing... no humming, no vibrating, no nothin'.
I am about 80% sure it is the adapter that has failed. i just ordered a new one; I really hope it...
Oh okay, I see. Thanks for the pic. I have the older setup, yes. Not sure why I didn't think of this, but I'm going to use a multimeter to determine if the adapter has a current. just need to figure out how to use the darn thing...

Which button is the override button? The one with the R next to it? I don't believe my system was ever left to run dry, but I was out of town and had family help out, so I'm not 100% sure. There is absolute no humming, so I think I'm just going to buy a new set...
Thanks for your thoughts! I will definitely give it a try. Yeah, I noticed that the adapter was much cheaper to replace; I did send an email to Marty earlier in the day, asking for his advice as well. The MistKing IS great... it sure does beat hand misting :D
Thanks for the reply. I'll give it a try in the morning. I happened to be out of town for the last week, so perhaps my family members did let it run dry while I was away.
Wouldn't the pump still make a humming sound though if it were "on" and operational? I'll let you know what happens! Thanks...
Hi y'all, it appears the pump to my MistKing setup has stopped running. Not sure what exactly happened, but it stopped producing mist, and I can't hear the pump humming, meaning either the pump itself has failed, or the perhaps the power adapter got water damage and died? I believe there is a 2...
Hi @Chris Anderson,
I'm curious if there are any universities that you know that currently study chameleon behavior, physiological processes, anything of that sort?
Hi guys, I was wondering if anybody had any advice with booking a flight. I live in Nebraska, and am trying to find the cheapest flight possible for Antanarivo at the end of July.
Thanks for any feedback. I really appreciate it!

It looks like a beetle that a superworm would have turned into. Perhaps you let a superworm in your cham's cage, and it made it to safety? It's happened with me before, when a superworm found its way into a crevice in bamboo, I just thought what ever :p
If you leave a superworm in a container...
@Andie
I have a Nosy Be, but he looks nothing like the sire IMO. My guy Alby is about 2.5 years old now, so I am pretty sure he is fully matured. He did have parasites growing up, which I regret terribly for not mitigating earlier.
My guy becomes the most blue/turquoise either when I bring...
