I agree, the 12 hour seems tough. I gave her another hornworm this morning with it in there. I have not tried the trash can method, with her yet.
At 5pm today (it’s 1 now) it’ll have been 48 hours and that’s when they recommend I go to Boston to see about surgery. She usually sleeps around...
Sorry one more question. She needs calcium every 12 hours, I gave her the hornworm with it at noon but in 12 hours she’ll be asleep. Should I give her another hornworm with it tomrorow morning so I can give the second dose right before she goes to bed? And can I keep using hornworms or should I...
Okay so her basking spot isn’t high enough. Only 72. Should I add another lightbulb to the fixture? I changed it not too long ago so not sure why it’s not as warm? I also just increased the temp in the room as well
@Beman thank you both. Just injected the horn worm and she ate it. Hopefully this helps her. Putting all the covers back on the enclosure and I’ll check on her in a few hours 💚
Just bought some butter worms, going to inject the calcium in them and feed bingo. I’ll go and check on her today around noon, I haven’t checked on her yet but I think I heard her moving about the cage. Fingers crossed
Do you think I could keep her lights off but leave a low light on in the room? That way the room isn’t completely black and if she needs to see she can?
She’s asleep now but in case she wakes up
Okay great- I’ll skip it tomorrow morning and leave her alone. Would it also be safe to wait to check the temp until later tomorrow when I do a check in? Or should I not check the temp at all tomorrow, to try to not disturb her?
Does this one look ok? And should I get it tonight or do I not need it until after she lays?
Ill attach the sheet they gave me for temp for her
as for the calcium it’s .1ml every 12 hours. I’m not sure if I should try that tomorrow morning, or just leave her be and not disturb her? Any advice...
