Worried for female chameleon and she’s dark colors at night

Thanks so much… it feels weird to give her less food. Should I slowly cut back on feedings or does it not matter?

Yes it’s T5HO. I notice when I don’t use this basking bulb her cage gets too hot.

Worried for female chameleon and she’s dark colors at night

I am feeding her daily and about 5-6 bugs. 3-4 of them are super worms and the rest are bsfl. Her basking temp is around 80. I would say she does get restless sometimes durring the day and will claw at the top of her enclosure but not often. I do have a laying bin.

Worried for female chameleon and she’s dark colors at night

My female chameleon started only eating super worms or not eating at all, and starting to hang out in her not usual spots. Oh and we think she is around 7-8 months old and has never laid in-fertile eggs before… so back to my problem she is eating weird and has been darker during the day. Last...

    Just added plants

I will do those suggestions. My one worry is that I want to move her into the cage as soon as possible. But I’m worried that without the plants fully grown in she will get stressed. Can I move her in or should I wait?

    Just added plants

Hey everyone, I just added plants to my chams new cage. I am wondering if anyone has any advice of where to place more or if it’s okay now? Most of them are small and need to grow in a bit more. I don’t have the uvb because it’s in her old cage so that will be switched when I move her. I also...

Chameleons new cage- constructive criticism welcome

So, I have only put in the “highways” and wanted some more eyes to look over it before I put in plants. Let me know if you need more angles.

    Female cham acting lethargic

I got the 24 inch pangea T5 Ho fixture and the Zoo Med repti sun 22 T5 HO 5.0. I looked it up and the bulb should be compatible with the fixture.

    Female cham acting lethargic

I just ordered the uvb bulb and fixture. There were none in any nearby pet stores so I had to buy online. I payed for sooner shipping and it is supposed to come in 4-5 days. I was able to get her to eat today. I just hope she can stay okay until the bulb comes :/

    Female cham acting lethargic

I got a laying bin in there but she keep on pooping in it so I feel like its unsanitary for her to lay eggs in there, I do clean it out. I also want to keep it in there because my cham is super sensitive to any changes in her cage and I want to prevent egg binding. Not sure what to do about her...

    Female cham acting lethargic

Sorry it took me so long to get back you everyone. I will attach some photos of her cage. Your Chameleon - veiled, female, we think to be 4-5 months but not fully sure. Had her for around a month. Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? I had to once because we had to adjust a...

    Female cham acting lethargic

I first noticed my female cham who is around 4-5 months (we think), started walking around the sides and top of her cage and would fall asleep on the sides of her screen enclosure. She did this once before for a day or two so I thought nothing of it. But she has been doing it for about a week...
