I'm sure he's a male, because he has the spurs on his back feet and his color is coming in. Here is a picture I was able to get of him. The picture of the cage somehow just won't upload rn, so I'll try again in a bit. I convinced him onto my hand with a cricket after about 30 minutes of him...
Right now it is night time, so a pic would be best tmrw. He is in a 4 foot by 2 foot by 2 foot. He has all live plants, including pothos, wandering jew, and some other plants I forget the name of(I researched it at the beginning and I know it is safe for veils). The crickets are stinky when I...
Hello all!
It's been a long time since I've visited this site, and for a good reason! Everything is going smoothly with Mango. He is super healthy, but not yet full size. He is just about 6 months now, and I am beginning to have just a tinge of concern. His crest isn't fully developed, but his...
Well the orange was kind of an accident. LOL. I was eating some oranges today, and today was a day he was fine with me. So I was eating this orange and I peeled it and left it on a plate. Mango was sitting on his free roam pothos. Next thing I know hes eating one of them. I was freaking out...
Ok so to anyone who was watching my posts, I decided to keep Mango. He is 100% a male. He ate his first orange today. My problem is that he has mood swings. One day he loves me and come out of his cage on his own onto my arm, and the next day I receive a painful bite when I'm holding him even...
That's what I said. Chameleons aren't for me. He was an impulse buy because I just wanted to save him from that torment of petsmart. I know now to think and research before taking any advancing steps.
What I meant was that he takes up too much time in my day and money and I feel like it's not worth it to spend that much time. Leopard and Crested geckos require a lot less maintenance care but you can interact with them more. Chameleons are a win/loss situation, while geckos are a win/win...
Guys none of my local zoos will take him. I have a new rescue leopard gecko coming in soon and that is going to take up my time. Is anyone willing? Or can anyone tell anybody about this? Honestly at this point I'm desperate.
I am working him back to health before someone takes him in to a better home. We had to have a petcare service come in for a week while we got settled on the move, and apparently they sprayed outside of his enclosure, without opening it, so he is dehydrated, but I will nurse him back soon.
