From what I know 9 months same as a human baby but I might be wrong. You should wait until someone with more experience chimes in and also tells you how to care for and hatch them successfully
The back of his/her hind feet have or don’t have spurs. If the spurs are present(used for mating purposes in males) then it’s a boy, if they are not present then it’s a girl. If you do end up having a female I’d start reading all about lay bins and proper care as they are much differently cared...
Id try adding some shower curtain liner the clear one on atleast 3 sides of the cage that should keep it humid. I do this for my Gracilior which needs high moisture and humidity. I would get a Mist King for your mister and your cham should be good. You dont need crazy high humidity for veileds...
Do as JannB says and please never force your cham out you will lose all trust and it might take a VERY long time before they even let you feed them or get near them. I had this problem with my veiled as we didn't know any better and he was very small (Petco baby), as i said didnt know any...
Might have to try his gutload. Its just not hot enough outside so I have them inside with a lamp and they stay anywhere from 78-85. How do i go about buying some of his gutload?
Thanks I’ll try that I have mine in a dark sterilite with some spraying for humidity carrots and oranges and a basking light to kee the heat up they’re also next to me chameleons so they share they’re humidity in the corner lol
Thank you for the info! I have some quite large ones but they don’t look mature or with wings hopefully in the next month or two. How do you keep yours? Any tips on keeping the heat up?
