I Get lindasgonebuggy value packs So It Comes With Chow But Sometimes I Give Apples. I’d lay off too many waxworms they are basically all fat maybe one or two a month as a treat. 8-10 appropriate size feeders and a hornworm for a treat if he can maybe twice a week I’d say. They are basically all water. Great for hydration in a pinch if you think he needs it.
  • Supplements - I Use zoomed calcium and vitamin.I Do The Without D3 And Switch It Out With D3 Twice A Month. I Dust Them Then Feed It To Him In The Morning. You also need a Multivitamin I think that’s what you meant by the vitamin. Just to clarify Calcium with no D3 everyday and with D3 twice a month and you do Multivitamin twice a month also. I like to give with D3 the first two Saturday with normal calcium between and then Multivitamin the last two Saturday of the month with normal calcium between it’s easy to monitor.
  • Watering - Hand Misting And A Dripper. For Hand Misting I Do 3-4 Minutes And For The Dripper, I Just Simulate It For Him. Yes, I Do See My Chameleon Drinking.Sounds okay for now but whenever you can I’d look into an automatic mister

  • Humidity - About 30%. Using Live Plants To Hold The Humidity And MainTain These Levels. I Use A Therm Again To Know What Is The Humidity.Try to be between 30-50 I’d say is good for veileds they don’t need as much as say a panther chameleon

I agree with Daniel266jz. Incorporating his suggestions is a good starting point. I would also add more vines for your cham to climb on. The light in your photo adds a glare so its hard to tell how many vines you have. More plants cant hurt either.

I would definitely think about saving up for a Mist king or other mist system. Takes the hassle out of making sure you are home to spray the cage.

Whatever light you are using, it seems very intense. It hurts my eyes just looking at it. That is from one light? Does not look like your chameleon has many shaded areas to escape the light. Also, those branches are quite flimsy and might work for a baby, but as your chameleon grows, they will never support his weight. So would be a goid idea to add some more supportive branches to your enclosure.

like many have said you need more branches and vines. your cham will move a lot through the day and if there isnt different areas to where he can hide or feel safe or cool down he may get over stressed. also i do recommend an automated mister. my favorite being the monsoon from exo terra. they are about 60-70$ but well worth it due to the adequate water supplied

Those vines look nice, though I agree that there could be branches. If you can double check the uvb type. Generally a 5.0 linear uvb is suggested for sub-adults. Try to get your humidity up a bit.
Some chameleons are quite fond of lying around in the heat, and if he seems healthy and has access to proper lighting I don't think his basking is of concern. Take him outside to get some real sun when the weather permits!

Have you tried MistKing?
